Highlights of the exam pattern
The CBSE Class 12 board exams will be conducted in two terms: Term I and Term II.
The Term I exams will be held in November-December 2022 and will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) only.
The Term II exams will be held in March-April 2023 and will have different types of questions, including MCQs, case-based questions, source-based integrated questions, assertion-reasoning questions, and short answer/long answer questions.
The syllabus for each term will be divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A will have 50% weightage and Part B will have 50% weightage.
The question papers for each term will be prepared by the CBSE and sent to the schools in a sealed envelope.
