Sometimes, players might find it slightly cumbersome to download mods one at a time. It just feels more convenient to download a pack of weapon mods that are fairly good, but it's hard to find one particular collection that is universally beloved.
Using a shotgun in a video game is a satisfying feeling that simply can't be beat. So, any fan of weapon mods in Fallout 4 would love the idea of downloading a custom shotgun that packs a ton of firepower.
New shotguns, submachine guns and pistols are just a few of the goodies in this pack. It's perfect for anyone who still wants to retain the vanilla Fallout 4 weapons, while adding in a few new extras to diversify the armament pool.
The shotgun is popular for bird hunting (called "game-shooting" in the UK, where "hunting" refers to hunting mammals with a pack of hounds), it is also used for more general forms of hunting especially in semi-populated areas where the range of rifle bullets may pose a hazard. Use of a smoothbore shotgun with a rifled slug or, alternatively, a rifled barrel shotgun with a sabot slug, improves accuracy to 100 m (110 yd) or more. This is well within the range of the majority of kill shots by experienced hunters using shotguns.

The versatility of the shotgun as a hunting weapon has steadily increased as slug rounds and more advanced rifled barrels have given shotguns longer range and higher killing power.
